I just tried this. I enjoyed the combination of sweet, salty and savory. It is mild, so those who like heat will want to kick it up. Next time, I'll be adding a bit more garlic and probably onions (carmelized or powdered, depending on my mood)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts - thin
4 garlic cloves (I used two TBSP pre-minced garlic)
4 Tbsp brown sugar (Substituted 2 tbsp Brown-sugar Splenda)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 cup cheese

1 Preheat oven to 375 and line a casserole dish with foil and lightly grease
2 In small saute pan saute garlic in the olive oil until tender
3 Remove from heat and stir in sugar and salt
4 Place chicken breasts in the casserole dish and cover with 3/4 of garlic/sugar mixture
5 Salt and pepper to taste
6 Bake uncovered for 30 minutes
7 Sometime within the last 10 minutes, put the cheese over the chicken, then put the rest of the garlic/sugar mixture on top. Bake for about 10 minutes of until the cheese is fully melted.

That sounds quite good! This wuff's definitely a fan of garlic. And a bit of cheese on top sure doesn't hurt. The combo of sweet/savory sounds interesting! Will definitely be working with this one!

As am I. Here's one of my favorite quotes

“Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good.”
