3 cups shredded cheese
1 lb ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 sm can tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
1 box elbow macaroni (16oz)
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions:
1. throw chopped onion and minced garlic into a pot and cook until onion is just starting to soften.
2. Add hamburger, salt and pepper.. Brown hamburger, mixing with onion and garlic.
3. Add 1 can tomato paste and 1 TB Worchester sauce to pot, stir for a bit to heat and mix with hamburger.
4. Add beef broth, stir to combine and then bring to simmer.
5. Add uncooked macaroni, stir, cover and simmmer for 4 minutes. Stir, cover and simmer for another 4 minutes (until macaroni is almost done)
6. Uncover and reduce heat down to low. Stir in sour cream and milk, stirring thoughrally.
7. Stir in 2 cups of shredded cheese, stir until cheese is melted.
8. Sprinkle cheese over top of mix, add lid, and cook for 3 more minutes (until the topping cheese is melted)
