This one is semi-experimental. Have done a similar recipe, but not quite like this one. Should be good though!
1-2 pounds chicken wings and drumsticks
Marinade & Sauce
1 C Soy Sauce
2/3 C Lemon Juice
1/2 C Yoshida Original Gourmet (teriyaki) sauce
?? T Toasted sesame paste or 1/4 C Toasted sesame oil
1-2 T garlic powder
1-2 T Ground Ginger
1 T Black Pepper
Large zip-top bags.
Mix all sauce ingredients together.
Place chicken in zip top bag(s), pour in sauce. Marinade 4-6 hours or over night.
Remove chicken and place in smoker. Smoke according to smoker's directions. Reserve marinade and baste chicken frequently with it.
Put remaining sauce in small pan and simmer until sauce reduces and thickens. (May want to add a little honey to the mixture at this point).
Spread some of the thickened sauce over the chicken and coat them lightly with toasted sesame seeds. Serve the remaining sauce on the side for dipping.
