Yummy!

Ingredients:
1 TB Olive Oil
1 pound fully cooked sausage
1 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
14.5 ounce can diced tomato (I used one with peppers)
8 oz dry penne pasta
1 hot pepper (from my plant), sliced thin.
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup half and half
1 cup monterey jack cheese shredded

Instructions:
1. Add olive oil to pot, add sausage, onion, and sliced peppers and sautee for 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.

2. Add broth, tomatoes, pasta, salt, and pepper. Stir, bring to boil, cover pot, reduce heat until medium low and simmer until pasta is tender (about 15 minutes). Stir in cream for a minute or two until cream is warm.

3. Remove pot from heat and stir in cheese until melted

Heh, I have no idea.. Its a skinny pepper about 3" long. It came from a packet of mixed pepper plant seeds.
