Ingredients: 1 pound of ground beef 1 onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 2 teaspoons Mexican Oregano 1 teaspoon Penzy's Italian Spice 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper. Directions: 1. Combine ground beef, onion, garlic in large saucepan, cook and stir until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain grease. 2. Stir in everything else, simmer for 1 hour, stirring now and then. Sauce will thicken.. and I actually simmered it for about 1 hour 10 minutes to get it the way I wanted. |

Looks good - but I would add a teaspoon of leaf marjoram to it, too - and more garlic |
