So, in the spirit of cleaning out the fridge, and because I actually had crust AND cheese at the same time, I decided to make Garbage Pizza.  For those of you that dont know what garbage pizza is (and I think that's a few hermits living in caves in Tibet) that's when you make a pizza topped with whatever you find in your fridge at the time. Some days it's good, some days it's scary, but today was outstanding.

Here's what I used to make the pizza:

A roll of pillsbury french bread loaf leftover from our day o' dipping appetizers

I didn't have any spaghetti sauce, but I did have tomato sauce and about a quarter cup of bbq sauce, so cut the BBQ sauce about 3 parts tomato sauce and called it good.

Grated mozarella cheese--leftover from a few weeks ago. No green, so still good

Grated parmesan--same as above

Chopped smoked pork tenderloin

chopped white onion

garlic cloves sliced paper thin

Pepperoni left over from last week's sausage and cheese appetizers

Anyway, this turned out really well. The bbq sauce went very well with the smoked pork, onions and garlic.

Sounds like a very good combination. The BBQ would compliment the pork quite nicely, I'd think.

Any chance of your posting the fig sauce you made for the tenderloin? Booj says it came out VERY good!

The one you made for me didn't have the pepperoni.  Instead it had the smoked itialian sausage.
