Oh man! Ok, the beans turned out wonderfully... but you might ask yourself why I am posting about them at 2am! Well, I must have added a bit too much water to the pot and it took until 1:30am to finish cooking down! So these beans cooked for 13.5 hours!

On to the topic of ketchup. The reason why I used 1/4 cup spicy red duck ketchup was because I ran out of regular ketchup.. but it REALLY makes the beans good. It adds a VERY low level of heat to them that perfectly goes with the sweet.

The recipe seems to have made about 2 quarts of beans. I put them into a large tupperware container and put them in the fridge (after having a small bowl to try them out.)
