At the advice of Vargr I used garlic paste and pureed red onion instead of the miced garlic and minced onion that I had been going to use.    So here are the ingredients:

4 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic paste
1/2 cup pureed Sweet Red onion
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning

These were all mixed together on Friday and left in the fridge until Sunday when we made them into patties and cooked them on the grill.   It was good, but I think that next time I'll reduce the sweet red onion down to 1/4 cup and increase both the black pepper and italian style seasoning.
