Popular (No New Posts) Thai Peanut Smoked/Grilled Chicken
Experiment in progress for the 2XP LAN Party/BBQ. This is a marinade we used on some of the chicken. It has a wonderful flavor on it's own, and would be a great sauce to pan-fry chicken in on the stove.

Popular (No New Posts) Autumn Chicken - Chicken Thighs with Roasted Root Veggies
"Autumn" to reflect the plethara of harvest root veggies, and the "Autumn leaves" colors of the mix. Takes a little longer to prepare, but the total "cooks involvement" time is minimal.

Popular (No New Posts) Soup Beans and Corn Bread with Ham Hocks
Mom taught us this wonderful Southern dish. In the years since, wuff has "kicked it up" and made it use own. Rich, savory bean broth soaks into the corn bread. A few more spices in the beans than traditional. And the corn bread is "gussied up" a bit too.

Popular (No New Posts) 4 Bean Salad with Fresh Basil
A super-easy way to come up with a tasty salad, with just a few minutes work. Colorful, tasty, easy, and got great comments at the church potluck. What's not to like?

Popular (No New Posts) Cacio De Pepe pasta and antipasto
"Cheese and Pepper" in Italian, the sparsity of ingredients doesn't mean a paucity of flavor. If you enjoy black pepper, you're going to LOVE this pasta! An Italian version of "mac and cheese".

Popular (No New Posts) Sesame Smoked Chicken
Somewhat Experimental. I've done similar recipes, but never quite with this mix. Should be a good sweet, nutty "Asian" flavor to these wings and drumsticks

I think we'll want to kick it up with a bit more Cayenne, but this looks good.

A Southern Cooking staple, kicked up a bit by wuffy but still true to its roots. Pressure Cooker version for faster prep and guaranteed tender beans. Southern (Dixie) Style corn bread recipe included.

Popular (No New Posts) Chipotle - Peach Marinade and Sauce
A semi-experimental composition to marinade pork for smoking. Should make a good 'mop' as well, and boiled down and thickened, a nice glaze and sauce. Lots of flavor, fruity, and with a nice 'kick' from chipotle.

Popular (No New Posts) "Red-Cooked" Chicken w/Stir-Fry Veggies - Slow Cooker Style
A very simple recipe, nearly "dump style" if you're in a rush. But with a great depth of flavor, tender, juicy, fall-off-the-bone chicken, and nice Asian notes from 5-spice powder and Soy Sauce. It just doesn't actually turn red (yet).

Incredibly easy to make, this has powerful flavors and rich, creamy texture. The lemon flavor comes on strong, but the grapes temper it with fruity sweetness. Give this a try!
